It's been quite a year for the Cyber Girls. The first Cyber Girl of the Week (and first CGOM), Stephanie Heinrich, went on to become Miss October 2001. Other Cyber Gills have appeared in Playboy's Special Editions issues and at a host of other Playboy events and parties. With the white-hot spotlight attention Cyber Girls are beginning to garner, we wanted to make sure we had a Cyber Girl who was up for the challenge of bringing the Playboys Cyber Girls into a bigger and even better new year. And we found her in the form of Rebecca Ramos. Rebecca is the granddaughter of retired Congressman Henry B. Gonzalez, the first Mexican-American elected to Congress. And last November her uncle, Charles Gonzalez, was elected to his second congressional term. "I have grown up with my whole life centered around politics," Rebecca said. "I am prepared for a life in the spotlight and any opportunities that come my way." If the Cyber Girl notoriety continues to grow at its current pace, those opportunities could be boundless. This smart (she graduated magna cum laude from St. Mary's University in Texas and has a Anis Doctorate from St. Mary's University School of Law), sexy (she appeared in the July 2000 magazine pictorial as one of the lovely Latin ladies) and accomplished (she's worked in the pharmaceutical and law fields) woman seems poised for achieving her next big goal—to combine her law background with some aspect of the entertainment industry.
